Fabulous for dog walkers and families to wear out the kids .. coffee van in the carpark . Play area and large woodland grassy area to wander around and get lost in the trees .. There's a bird watching hide to view over the nature area and hopefully sea wildlife ....

Great local walk, mixture of woodland, fields and water. Dog walkers paradise. Plenty of parking which is also free. There's a play/picnic area for the children which is gated, dogs are allowed in this area but must be on a lead. On the top car park there is usually a refreshment van where you can get hot and cold drinks along with a few little snacks - reasonably priced too. Just up the path from the car park is a protected area where there are lots of birds and other wild life. Little huts are built along the path for you to stand in and watch the wild life. There is a porta-loo on the bottom car park that is free to use.

A really well laid out sews with surfaced and unsurfaced paths to allow access for all. Good children's play area with additional activity items placed around the woodland walks. Good for dog walkers within plenty of bins and benches.

I have been walking my dogs here for more than 30 years! It has become much more popular since lockdown but even when busy there is enough space, once away from the car parks to have dogs off lead without constantly meeting other people and dogs. There is one portaloo if you get really desperate and a really good coffee van. There is a small well equipped playground and some adventure play equipment in the first two fields. There is a hard surface path for a very small section, suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs. The park is a mixture of open Meadows and young, mixed woodland, planted around 30 years ago. This is a dog walkers haven! The park is surrounded by fields so it is quite safe to have your dog off lead so long as you have reasonable control. There are plenty of poop bins and general waste bins in the picnic areas. There is a stream running alongside one part of the Meadows with a good sized pond for dogs to paddle in and quench their thirst in the summer and wash off the mud in the winter. It does get very muddy in the winter lol! This is not a huge park. To walk the outer edge would take under 45mins. But if you zig zag around through the woods and the myriad of pathways you can easily walk for an hour and a half without covering the same ground.
